Choice & Dignity Teams Up with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)

Board Members Jim Schultz and J'Fleur Lohman will be leading a 4 session in person program The dates and times are still being finalized but will fall within the FALL Semester, Sept 11 to Dec 8, 2023) This class will be one day per week, either Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays. This series will help you prepare for death, yours, or a loved one. There are Five Primary topics: 1. Advanced Directives – Your decisions about the types of care and life-sustaining measures you may or may not want. 2. Medical Advocacy – How to ensure that your wishes are honored 3. Communication with Family and Loved Ones – How to have the necessary conversations. 4. Deliberate Life Completion –Discussions of what, where, and how Medical Aid in Dying as well as other methods to reduce suffering where MAID is not a viable alternative. 5. Neurodegenerative diseases and their impact on the Life Completion process In addition, we’ll discuss other “to-do’s for your list in preparation for death.
